CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
Sale of alcohol between the hours of 02:30 and 09:00 during the period of the Lincolnshire Show (Tuesday-Friday of Show week) shall be confined to Lincolnshire Show members, organisers, show exhibitors, stockmen and their bona fide guests attending the show.
Prevention of Crime & Disorder
The Premises Licence Holder and DPS:
i) shall maintain a daily incident book which must be completed each time the premises are open to the public with door supervisors on duty and signed by each door supervisor before commencing duty;
ii) details of all incidents attended or dealt with by door supervisors are recorded in the incident book;
iii) the incident book is available for inspection by the police or officers of WLDC at all times the premises are open to the public and at any other reasonable times;
iv) retain completed incident books for a minimum period of two years following the date of the last entry in the book.
All bar staff shall be trained in the basic law relating to the sale and supply of alcohol, details of such training shall be recorded in writing in a log book kept for that purpose, signed and dated by both the trainer and the person receiving that training.
There shall be provided at the premises door supervisors to such a number as the management of the premises consider sufficient to control the entry of persons to the premises and for the keeping of order in the premises when they are used for licensable activities.
Public Safety
All exits and escape routes to those exits (including internal escape routes) from the premises shall be provided with non-slip even surfaces and shall be maintained in good repair, correct working order and kept free from all obstructions when the public are on the premises. External escape routes shall also be kept free from ice and snow.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
The Premises Licence Holder or their representative shall conduct regular assessments of noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment involving the provision of music and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action.
Protection of Children from Harm
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 21 years of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years to produce one of the following forms of identification:
1. - A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Any other means of identification approved and accredited in writing by Lincoln Police Licensing Office.
All point of sale staff shall undergo training in the above policy with a record kept of the date of training, signed by the member of staff and the trainer, each entry shall be retained for a period of 24 months from date of completion, this record shall be made available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police Officers or other parties acting on their behalf.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate;
That proof of age may be requested at the premises and those accepted means for proof of age listed as at 1 above.
That it is unlawful for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age (unless the recipient is 16 or 17 years of age, is taking a table meal accompanied by an adult and consumes only beer, wine or cider with a meal).
