ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDU
Prevention of Crime & Disorder
Challenge 21 Policy to be adopted and signage displayed in the hall to this effect.
There shall be provided at the premises, door supervisors of such a number as the Committee of Management Trustees consider are sufficient to control the entry of the persons to the premises and for the keeping of order in the premises when they are used for the purposes of a licensing activity.
Where appropriate, such door supervisors should be SIA registered, a record shall be kept on the premises by the DPS of every SIA registered person employed on the premises as a door supervisor. The record shall contain the name, address, date of birth and SIA licence number and the time and date he/she starts and finishes duty. The record shall be available for inspection on demand by an authorised officer of the Council, the SIA or a Police Constable.
Public Safety
Signage to be displayed requesting persons to leave the premises quietly.
Any change to the premises lettings policy must be sent to the Licensing Authority and Lincolnshire Police within 14 days of any change being made.
Admission to private 18th and 21st parties shall be invitation only.
Last admission for discos and dances is 22.00.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Children under the age of 16 should be supervised at all times whilst on the premises by an accompanying responsible adult when bar is operational.
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age, the policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years of age to produce one of the following forms of ID:
A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
Photo Driving Licence
Passport
Any other means of identification approved and accredited in writing by the Lincoln Police Licensing Office.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate:
That it is unlawful for persons under 18 years of age to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age
That proof maybe requested at the premises and those accepted means for proof of age are listed as above
All point of sale staff shall undergo training in the above policy with a record kept of the date of training, signed by the member of staff and the trainer. Each entry shall be retained for a period of 24 months from the date of completion. This record shall be mad available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police Officers or other parties acting on their behalf.
