ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
The Applicant will ensure that all bar staff are trained in the correct handling and sale of alcoholic drinks and are aware of the laws relevant to underage drinking.
Children under 14 are not allowed in the bar area.
The Club will retain the current club rules and byelaws
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The premises are only open for members and their guests.
Customers will not be allowed to take bottles and glasses away form the premises.
Any drinks served to be consumed outside that bar lounge area will be served in cans or non-breakable glasses.
Public Safety
All current health & safety regulation s will be adhered to.
Fire fighting equipment and fire alarms will be checked regularly.
All chairs will be flame retardant.
Electrical inspection reports, fire alarm testing reports and Public Liability Insurance certificates will be made available for inspection as required.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
Staff are required to call 'last orders' 10 minutes prior to closing time and allow a maximum of 30 minutes 'drinking up time' and ensure that the premises are closed and locked by 23:30 each night and to ensure no-one is left on the premises.
The occupancy of the pavilion building will be limited to 80 people (including staff and performers).
A defined area shall be provided for dancing, performances of dance and any entertainment of similar description and this area shall be cleared of all non-permanent fixtures and fittings during the activity.
During such activity all glasses shall be toughened or plastic.
Persons who are dancing in the premises in the designated area shall not be permitted to consume food or drink of any description or possess any lighted cigarette, cigar or object of a similar nature, within that designated area.
Real or artificial smoke shall not be produced in the premises.
Free cold drinking water shall be available at all times on request.
Floodlighting on the all weather surface will not be lit after 22:30
Protection of Children from Harm
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult whilst on the premises.
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years to produce one of the following forms of identification:
a recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- photo driving licence
- passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Portman Prove It card
Any other means approved and accredited by Lincoln Police Licensing Office.
All point of sale staff shall undergo training in the above policy with a record kept of the date of training, signed by the member of staff and the trainer.
This record shall be made available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police Officers or other parties acting on their behalf.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate;
a) That it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
b) That proof of age may be requested at the premises and those accepted means for proof of age listed.
On any day when an outside event will occur, where it can be reasonably expected that there will be more than 499 persons but less than 4999 persons in attendance, a risk assessment will be carried out for that event and made available for Lincoln Police at least 28 days prior to the event.
Any reasonable requests from Lincoln Police in relation to the event shall be complied with.
When an outside event will occur, where it can be reasonably expected that there will be more than 4999 persons in attendance, a risk assessment will be carried out for that event and subject to consultation with the multi agency Safety Advisory Group.
Any recommendations by the Safety Advisory Group shall be instigated by the Applicant.
Such events shall be notified to Lincoln Police and the Safety Advisory Group at least 6 calendar months prior to the event.
The Safety Advisory Group have absolute veto on such events as necessary.
