CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
The relationship already in existence with the Lincolnshire Police will be maintained.
All appropriate steps will be taken to ensure no person under the age of 18 have access to alcohol.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The applicant will:
() Liaise with Police concerning licensing generally.
() Liaise with Police to ensure effective surveillance including the use of video cameras.
() Maintain membership of Pub Watch Scheme.
() Maintain membership of Lincoln Security Group.
() Keep a record book of all incidents of disorder, violence, drug use, drug dealing and ill-health.
() Keep a record book of all employees including their dates and times of working.
() Obtain any necessary Licences as required.
() Implement Lincolnshire Police’s “Code of Practice for Dealing with Drug Offences”.
() Ensure all employees are adequately trained.
() Ensure the premises are secure when it is open to the public and when it is closed.
Public Safety
The applicant will ensure -
() All means of escape exits adequately lit and kept free from obstruction.
() All parts of the premises, services and fittings therein including the seating, door fastenings, notices and fire fighting equipment are maintained at all times in good order and condition.
() All electrical wiring, fittings, appliances and emergency lighting is installed and maintained in a safe and satisfactory condition having regard to any Regulations applicable.
() The Premises has sufficient provision of toilets and other sanitary accommodation for use by members of the Public.
() The premises have a cool quiet area with subdued lighting and comfortable seating to enable customers to rest and/or recover from dancing.
() That plentiful wholesome cold drinking water is available free of charge to customers during all hours the premises are open to the Public.
() The provision and maintenance of an efficient ventilation system to control temperature and/or humidity levels so as to ensure the temperature on the area used for dancing within the premises is not excessive.
() Sufficient first aid is provided in terms of both personnel and facilities at al times the premises is open to the public.
() Anyone unconscious, inured or appearing to be ill or unwell is attended to by a trained first aider or medical emergency services.
() That toughened glassware and/or plastic drinking vessels are used to serve liquid refreshment and an efficient glass/bottle collection service is provided.
() That “Real Smoke” is not produced in the premises save in accordance with the consent of the Chief Fire Officer and/or Environmental Health Manager were necessary.
() That any stroboscopic lighting is monitored and controlled so that it does not at any time exceed 5 flickers per second.
() That all fabrics and foam comply with the necessary British Standard.
() That any door supervisors (if any) employed, engaged or otherwise used, at al times, licensed within the Security Industry Authority.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
There will be control of the numbers attending the premises.
No one who is drunk or disorderly will be allowed on the premises.
Protection of Children from Harm
In addition to the usual checks, the academic register and photographs will be checked to identify anyone under the age of 18.
