ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
Regulated entertainments will take place within the bar area only.
Consumption of alcohol will only be allowed in the bar, lounge and garden areas.
Occupancy will be limited to 65 persons in the lounge and 60 persons on the bar.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
There will be no under age drinking.
Drunkenness will not be allowed on the premises.
The car park and rear of the premises will be properly lit.
The premises will have suitable alarm protection.
Public Safety
Assessments to comply with health and safety legislation will be undertaken.
All appropriate fire regulations will be observed and complied with.
All fire safety equipment and electrical systems will be tested in accordance with the appropriate regulations.
All fire doors and exits will not be obstructed during the hours of opening.
A defined area shall be provided for dancing, performances of dance and any entertainment of similar description and this area shall be cleared of all non-permanent fixtures and fittings during the activity.
During such activities all glasses shall be toughened glass or plastic.
Persons who are dancing in the premises in the designated area shall not be permitted to consume food or drink of any description within that designated area.
Real or artificial smoke shall not be produced in the premises.
Free cold drinking water shall be available at all times on request.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
Deliveries to the premises will only take place in daytime.
Signage will be placed on the premises reminding of the need to keep noise to a minimum.
When regulated entertainment is taking place on the premises, all windows and doors will be kept closed.
The consumption of alcohol in the garden area will not be permitted after 22:00 Sunday to Thursday and 23:00 Friday & Saturday.
Protection of Children from Harm
Any person under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children will not be allowed in the bar (allowed in the Lounge and Garden Area only).
All children under 16 must vacate the lounge area by 21:00
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under the age of 18. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 18 to produce one of the following forms of ID:
1 a recognized proof of age card accredited under the British retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
2 Photo driving licence
3 passport
4 Citizen card supported by the Home Office
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate that it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18.
