Additional Conditions

• Mandatory Conditions Supply of alcohol (Licenced Premises)

   

  1.              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence or,

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2.              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  Section 68 'Supper Hours certificate' (Applicable to the didning room upstairs and verandah section downstairs only).

   

  Alcohol may be sold or supplied for one hour following the hours set out above to persons taking table meals in the premises in a part of the premises usually set apart for the service of such persons and for consumption by such a person in that part of the premises as an ancillary to his meal. For other purposes or in other parts of the premises the hours set out above shall continue to apply.

  Prevention of Public Nuisance

   

  Signage to be displayed asking customers to leave the premises quietly.

   

  Protection of Children from Harm

   

  There shall be in place for the premises a written policy to prevent the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age.  That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years to produce one of the following forms of identification:

   

                                     A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail                             Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)

                                   Photo driving licence

                                   Passport

                                               Any other means of identification approved and accredited in writing               by Lincoln Police Licensing Office.

   

  All point of sale staff shall undergo training in the above policy with a record kept of the date of training, signed by the member of staff and the trainer, each entry shall be retained for a period of 24 months from date of completion.  This record shall be made available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police Officers or other parties acting on their behalf.

   

  A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate;

   

  a) That it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.

   

  b) That proof of age may be requested at the premises and those accepted means for proof of age listed above.
