ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A) General:
The premises will have in place:
· Adequate lighting
· A suitable children’s policy
B) Prevention of crime and disorder:
Staff will be trained in:
· Licensing issues
· Prevention of crime and disorder
· Drugs awareness
· How to deal with any potential situations
Training will be provided by the Designated Premises Supervisor on site and a training manual will be kept on the premises to include details of staff training and will refer to the operating schedule.
An age restriction policy will be in place which limits people in the bar to 16 years and over
A proof of age policy will be in place using industry accepted ID cards
High Volume Vertical Drinking will be discouraged by the provision of more seats than standing area.
C) Public Safety:
All drinks served in pints, ½ pints and Hi Ball glasses to be served in toughened glass by the second appointed day
Adequate First Aid provisions to be put in place
Fire extinguishers will be in place as per the plan and serviced annually
D) The prevention of public nuisance:
No entertainment to be allowed on the premises except for low-level background music
Doors to be kept closed during licensable activities
Notices to be displayed to require customers to leave in an orderly manner
No entry or re-entry to the premises to be allowed after 23.00
E) The protection of children from harm
Children to be allowed only in the dining room and beer garden.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
No children to be allowed on the premises after 21.30
Children should not have access to gaming or tobacco vending machines
