ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Prevention of Crime & Disorder
There will be in place a written drugs policy available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police and Licensing Officers. All staff to be trained in this policy, a written record signed by the staff member and trainer shall be kept for a period of 24 months detailing the name of the staff member, name of the trainer and date training completed.
The premises and any persons employed in its operation as licensed premises shall be subject to such testing or screening for illegal substances as requested by Lincolnshire Police Officers or their authorised agents.
Public Safety
If dancing, performance of dance or any similar activity takes place; a defined area shall be provided which shall be cleared of all non-permanent fixtures and fittings during the activity. Any persons who are dancing in the designated area shall not continue to consume food or drink of any description. Notices to be clearly displayed stating 'Persons who are dancing in the designated area shall not continue to consume food or drink of any description within that designated area'.
Free cold drinking water shall be available at all times on request.
Risk assessments shall be conducted in relation to Fire Safety, Health and Safety and Food Safety and a written record shall be available to the appropriate agencies.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
Ashbins to be provided at all entrances to avoid smoking litter in the vicinity of the premise.
Signs to be clearly displayed at all exits requesting customers to leave the premises and area quietly and respect the rights of neighbours.
No regulated entertainment shall take place outside of the building.
Glass bins shall not be emptied between 21.00 and 08.00.
Protection of Children from Harm
There shall be in place at the premises a written policy to prevent sale or supply of alcohol or smoking material to persons under 18 years of age. The policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years to produce one of the following forms of identification:
1 A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortium's Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
2 British Photo Driving Licence
3 Passport
4 Any other means if identification approved and accredited in writing by Lincolnshire Police Licensing Office.
All point of sale staff shall undergo training in the above policy with a record kept of the date of training signed by the member of staff and the trainer, each entry shall be retained for a period of 24 months from date of completion. This record shall be made available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police Officers or other parties acting on their behalf.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate:
5 That it is unlawful for persons under 18 years of age to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
6 That proof of age may be requested at the premises and those accepted means for proof of age listed as above.
