Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
CCTV will be installed and maintained in working order and operated to the satisfaction of the Police. There will be coverage to the external entrance as well as each entrance/exit providing images for facial recognition/identification of all persons entering the premises.
There will be sufficient cameras to reasonably cover all licensed public areas and recordings will be kept for a maximum of 28 days endorsed with accurate times and dates. Police and/or authorised licensed officers shall be able to view playback following lawful requests and recordings will be provided within 24 hours of the original request.
Recoding equipment shall be housed in a secure cabinet where access and operation are strictly limited to authorised persons. In the event of a system malfunction the DPS or premises licence holder will immediately notify the police licensing officer. Arrangements for repair will be made without delay and once repaired the Licensing Authority and Police will be notified.
An incident/refusals book shall be kept at the premises containing sufficient details of any crime and or disorder and will be checked on a regular basis and retained for a period of no less than 12 months whilst being made available for inspection by the police.
The company will ensure noise, lighting and odour levels are controlled so as to reduce the risk of causing public nuisance.
Deliveries to the store will be arranged as far as possible at reasonable times of the day.
Adequate litter bins will be provided.
The Challenge 25 proof of age scheme will be operated within the store to prevent the sale of supply of alcohol to persons under 18. The policy will require any person who appears to be under the age to produce a form of identification such as a photo driving licence, passport or other recognised and accredited proof of age card. Notices will be prominently displayed advertising the Challenge 25 scheme to customers.
All point of sale staff shall undergo appropriate training in the Challenge 25 scheme with a record kept of the date of training, signed by the staff member and trainer. Each shall be retained for a period of 24 months from the date of completion and be made available for inspection by the Police or other relevant authority.
Staff will be trained in the sale of cigarettes and tobacco/solvents/blades etc and there will be till prompts in respect thereof.
