ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
The primary use of the premises will be as a racecourse and on occasions events will be held both within the premises and within the grounds unconnected to horseracing.
On days when horseracing is taking place, a risk assessment will be carried out to comply with the 'Green Guide/Guide to safety at Sports Grounds'. The risk assessment will be available upon request to the authorities and any reasonable requests will be complied with.
When licensable activities take place and horseracing is not taking place then an equivalent risk assessment will be carried out. The risk assessment will be available upon request to the authorities and any reasonable requests will be complied with.
Public Safety
On any day when an outside event other than horse racing will occur, where it can be reasonably expected that there will be less than 4999 persons in attendance, a risk assessment will be carried out for that event and made available for Lincoln Police at least 28 days prior to the event.
Any reasonable requests from Lincoln Police in relation to the event shall be complied with.
When an outside event, other than horse racing will occur, where it can be reasonably expected that there will be more than 4999 persons in attendance, a risk assessment will be carried out for that event and subject to consultation with the multi agency Safety Advisory Group.
Any recommendations by the Safety Advisory Group shall be instigated by the Applicant.
Such events shall be notified to Lincoln Police and the Safety Advisory Group at least 6 calendar months prior to the event.
The Safety Advisory Group has absolute veto on such events as necessary.
Protection of Children from Harm
No person who appears to be under the age of 18 will be served alcohol without proof of age.
Photo driving licence, passport or other council approved photo ID scheme only is acceptable.
All staff to be trained to recognise the potential for serving underage minors with alcohol.
An incident book will be kept to record refusals.
The applicant will initiate a programme as per 'Challenge 21' scheme.
