CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A CCTV system shall be installed to the following specification:
i. The system shall be maintained in working order and shall be used to record during all hours authorised for licensable activities.
ii.The system shall monitor and record areas of the licensed premise to which members of the public are permitted access.
iii.The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in an unedited form for a period of not less than 31 days and be endorsed with the accurate time and date.
iv.There shall be a member of staff at the premises who is capable of operating the CCTV system and be able to provide immediate plyback of images if required.
v.Recordings shall be provided to officers of Lincolnshire Police or the Licensing Authority upon request.
vi.Clear signage will be used to inform members of the public that CCTV is in operation
All staff that will be selling alcohol will be trained so that they understand the licencing objectives especially as they pertain to the responsible selling of alcohol and will be given clear guidance on what to look for regarding documentation provided for proof of age.
A register of training will be kept with the date, type of training, name of trainer and the signatures of those receiving the training. This register will be available for inspection at all times to authorised officers of the Licensing Authority.
The sale of alcohol will only be in sealed containers for consumption off the premises.
Sales of alcohol in person will be from a wooden building located in front of the brewery rather than from the brewery itself in order to ensure the safety of the public.
The gate will be signed “No admittance” and will be kept shut other than for access to the brewery by the dray or for deliveries.
The premises shall operate the "Challenge 25" Proof of Age Scheme. The scheme requires that anyone appearing to be under the age of 25years attempting to purchase alcohol shall be required to provide proof of age. Under the terms of this scheme the only proof of age that is acceptable is a:
· A recognised proof of age card credited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme bearing the PASS logo;
· Photo driving licence;
· Passport.
Clear signage to show that we are operating the challenge 25 scheme will be put in any retail areas of the premises.
No children (under the age of 18) will be allowed in the shop or any part of the brewery unless accompanied by an adult.
A Refusal Register shall be maintained on the premises containing details of any refused purchases of alcohol and shall be available for inspection at all times to authorised officers of the Licensing Authority.
In order to protect children in regards of our online and telephone ordering the following steps will be taken over an above the training provided to staff as already noted
· Our web based order form will specifically require the customer to verify that they have attained the age of 18 years and confirm that they will not supply the alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 years.
· Any order other that web based shall be recorded onto an order form that includes a section that is required to be completed indicating that the caller has been specifically asked to verify that they have attained the age of 18 years and confirming that they will not supply the alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 years.
· Any order that is cash on delivery shall require the recipient of the alcohol to provide proof of age confirming they have attained the age of 18years. The delivery note will ask the driver to record that they have seen such proof.
