ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
Site to be restricted to those who have been issued with wristbands by Alchemy Festival
Security checks to be held at all access points
No glass will be provided onsite
The SAG to receive the finalised safety plan at least 14 days in advance of the event
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Written drugs policy onsite
A record/log book shall be kept on the premises by the DPS of every SIA registered person employed on the premises. The record shall contain the following details:
Name;
His/Her Security Industry Authority Licence Number;
The time and date he/she commenced and concluded their duty;
The DPS or other authorised person shall also endorse each entry as having checked the authenticity of the individual door supervisor.
That record shall be available for inspection on demand by an Authorised Officer of the Council, the Security Industry Authority or a Police Constable.
Each entry shall be retained for a period of 12 months from date of completion.
Public Safety
The event will be subject to a dedicated fire risk assessment and the requirements of the fire service will be instigated as indicated in the safety plan.
A defined area shall be provided for dancing, performances of dance and any entertainment of similar description. This defined area (dance floor) shall be clearly delineated and shall be cleared of all non-permanent fixtures and fittings during the activity.
Clear areas for access and egress shall be provided around the dance floor so as to reduce the risk of physical injury to dancers and patrons.
Access and egress routes will be clearly marked in all enclosed areas.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
All stages are to be placed where music is to be performed and amplified away from residential properties as noted on the site plan and ensure speakers are facing away from these properties to reduce any noise nuisance. Stages will be placed so that the prevailing wind carries any sound away from any close residential properties.
Protection of Children from Harm
Alcohol will only be sold or served to persons wearing an adult wristband.
Specific tamper proof wristbands will be issued to adults upon production of the accepted means of proof of age as follows;
A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
Photo driving licence (NOT provisional)
Passport
The wristbands shall be secured on each qualifying individual immediately upon issue under the direct supervision of a member of staff.
Children under the age of 18 not be permitted in any enclosure where the sale of alcohol is the main purpose of that area.
No children who are unaccompanied by an adult will be allowed on site.
